HELMI

Helmi is an interdisciplinary sound explorer and music producer from Tunisia residing in Qatar. Drawing from his roots in bass guitar compositions and sound design, he expanded into experimental electronic music, exploring immersive and atmospheric sonic experiences. With a passion for synthesizers and its myriad of creative possibilities, Helmi creates intricate soundscapes that blend ambient textures with rhythmic explorations.

Helmi's work explores the intersection of technology, organic sound and field recordings, pushing the boundaries of contemporary electronic music. Through his project Tesla Coil Lab, Helmi documents his creative process and shares live performances that showcase the possibilities of his instruments like the Lyra 8. His contributions at MELD's event has already established himself as a strong voice in the region's experimental synthesizer music community.
